1995 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie Description:
This is an amazingly well kept 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins Diesel with a 5 speed manual transmission. Truck is 2WD and has 197,650 original miles. Rear axle is 3.55 ratio.Truck has every option available in 1995, including power locks, powerwindows, power mirrors, factory fog lights, sliding rear window, cloth 40/20/40 seat, behind the seat storage, AM/FM/Cassette/CD with 3 band equalizer and Infinity sound and cab lights.
Truck also has a very professionally installed aftermarket power moonroof with zero leaks or noise. The interior on this truck is immaculate and all original. Dash does have some cracking below the dash at common to all of these, but is intact. Knee bolster on driver side also has a crack. I have a replacement bolster but it has to be painted to match. It is a darker grey than his interior. All lights, switches, gauges and accessories work as new. No trouble lights or codes. Carpet is original and stain free.
The truck is 100% mechanically sound with no known or suspected problems. Truck has just passed a full Missouri state inspection that is current for titling in Missouri for 60 days. Tires and wheels are from a 2010-2012 Ram and are 70% or better. Truck has ZERO rust anywhere including the underbelly. Can't find one like this that was locally owned all its life!
There is a trailer brake controller installed but truck has never had a fifth wheel or gooseneck hitch. It had a shell on the bed when I bought it but it has been removed.
Truck was purchased new in Los Angeles area and spent its life there until
I bought it in May 2016. Flew out and drove it back. This truck will drive anywhere. I got 22mpg on the way home from LA and get 20 around St. Louis. I buy and sell older diesel trucks and this has been my personal toy for the past 15 months.
The truck needs to be repainted. The clear is peeling on the top side and the hood and front fenders were already repainted under recall. The hood and front fender paint is dead and will not polish out. There is also the usual paint rub damage from the shell around the cab rear window.
This truck is super rare with its options and is now impossible to find in this condition with this mileage. I know what this truck is so I will not entertain any tire kickers or lowball offers. If you come to see it, be prepared to buy. I will not waste your time so don't waste mine please.
