I have had this car for 5 years, bought it from a close friend, as it was willed to him from his father in law, who was the original owner, Flaggler Florida is where the car spent most of its life in a garage, car came to Nevada in 1989, in the 5 years, the engine was rebuilt, 500 miles ago, all brake lines, all 6 wheel cylinders replaced, brake shoes, hoses, master cylinder and brake light switch, all fuel lines replaced, new drive shaft and updated to u joints from the ball and trundle, tires have about 200 miles, water pump replaced last September new not rebuilt, upgraded the generator to a 6 volt positive ground 60 amp alternator, and put in a pertronix igniter in the distributor, so no more points or condenser, it is also a 6 volt positive ground one and matching coil, has All original interior, headliner, door panels, seats, sunvisors, carpet was put in in 1970, that's when the car was painted also, paint is still shines like crazy, but the paint has cracks in it, still looks great, these pics are from last month, I always have the car in storage when not using her, has the 3 on the tree, the transmission is from a 1950 Plymouth, as the gyromatic had major problems, the relays were going crazy and the cost for them were unbelievable priced, so I replaced the trans and upgraded the driveshaft to modern Ujoints, the windows work fine, drives great, the old tubed radio don't work, but it looks great with the chrome, had car up to 80mph and had no problem doing it, but 65 is just fine for a almost 70 year old car, trans shifts nicely, but once in a while it wont go into 2nd gear, all other gears are smooth as glass, carb was reconditioned last year and works great, fuel pump is new in February, the entire exhaust system was replaced last summer, and purrrrrrs like a little kitten, if you stand next to the car you cant hear it run, its so quiet, chrome on the car is fantastic, rear bumper has couple of pimples, grill and coronet emblem is like new.....cigarette lighter works great, ALL dash gauges work, ALL lights work, tail, brake, dash, headlights, interior and glove box.
