Stock #: V18714 Exterior Color: Yellow Interior Color: Black Body Type: Hardtop Transmission: 727 TorqueFlite Automatic Engine: 511-595 HP Stroker Title Condition: Clear This is a real GT, we sold it for $22,000 in 2015. The buyer spent $40,000 on performance motor, trans, rear, brakes, suspension etc. It is a ground pounder! Over 600 horsepower and has everything it needs to handle it.
EXTERIOR: The body is very solid, doors shut like a new car. It does have an older paint job that is presentable, not show quality. The bumpers have been rechromed, vinyl top looks new. It has an aggressive stance. New Billet Specialty wheels, skinny in front, extra wide in back. New Mickey Thompson performance tires, still has nubs on the tread. It also features a big hood scoop, hood pins and GT stripe.
INTERIOR: Very decent inside. Has bucket seats. Overall upholstery, headliner, carpet are good. Dash area is very nice, not beat up, chrome trim is bright. Has a modern stereo 6x9 speakers in back. Bellow the dash is a gauge cluster and a Monster tachometer. It has a Hurst Quarter Stick pistol grip shifter on the floor. Has seat belts front and back. Fire extinguisher looks like a nitrous bottle.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is where it gets really good! A $12,000 performance built 511 with 595 horsepower and 680 lbs of torque sits under the hood. Started as a 440, it has been stroked, balanced and Dyno tuned. Some of the features include Comp roller cam, aluminum heads, roller rockers, billet timing chain and much more. On top it has an Edelbrock high rise intake, giant Quick Fuel carb, custom fuel delivery system and throttle linkage and MSD ignition system. Has $1,777 Nitros system, the owner only went through one bottle. Those are some really wild Hedman competition headers going through the fender wells. The front of the motor has March brackets and pulley system with serpentine belt. Runs cool thanks to an aluminum radiator, water pump and overflow bottle and dual electric fans. Has Wilwood master cylinder.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Rear wheel wells were mini tubbed for wide tires. Very neatly done, looks like it was born that way. Battery was relocated to the trunk. Has battery box and shut off switch. Nitrous bottle is also mounted in the trunk.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront is ALL new. Has new spindles, bushings, ball joints, springs, shocks etc. Rebuilt steering box. Bottom of the motor has oversized oil pan costing $1,952 by the time it was fitted and installed. The trans was performance built by TCI, includes flow chart and external oil cooler. Custom driveshaft, new u-joints. Has rebuilt 3.91 posi rear. All new rear suspension- springs, bushings, tubular control arms, adjustable shocks. Rear springs were relocated for the wide tires. All new custom Wilwood brakes with disc at all 4 wheels. All new fuel system- tank, sending unit, electric pump, braided lines. Fat custom exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers. The floors are rock solid. The inner rockers and lower inner 1/4s are clean metal. Substantial frame connectors were welded in to prevent body flex.
The first person to say they'll buy it is going to be getting a great value. Comes with a pile of receipts. This thing runs strong and reliable. Fires right up, idles fine. Its turnkey ready to have some fun!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.

About Volo Auto Museum No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB. Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down. Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
