For sale today is a professionally restored/built 1933 Dodge street rod. The car was restored by Memoryville USA in Rolla, Mo and was completed in 2009 and has been driven about 100 miles per year since then. The car was sold new in 1933 by the Joesph Chrysler, Plymouth Dodge dealer in Belleville, Il. The car was traded in on a new car in 1948 the the dealer decided to keep the car and restore it. It went in the basement of the dealership and sat there for the next 50 plus years when the dealership sold the car to their number one body man who converted it to a street rod. I brought the car from the body man and took it to Memoryville to be completed.The car has a 360ci Dodge engine, a Dodge 3 speed automatic, has AC but no Freon and the rear end is out of a 1973 Maverick Grabber. The interior is as close as we could get to an original 1933 interior. The windows are all safety glass. The tires and wheels are in good shape and are 13 in the front and 15 in the rear. The paint is in VGC with two spots were it has bubbled up. The car has four suicide doors.The dual side mounts and the trunk rack were extra cost options in 1933. The brackets that hold the side mounts are polished brass. Under the sidemount covers are steel wheels and 2 new 16 tires. Both the Dodge emblems are original to the car and have not been restored. A new custom made radiator was installed in 2009 and there are NO problems with overheating. A fan is mounted on the front of the radiator. The dash is out of a 1994 Dodge mini van. The running boards are fiberglass. This car runs and drives well. Mileage is unknown. I have a clear Tennessee title.
I do not need any help selling this car. I will work with the buyer on shipping. The car is a driver so you could drive it home if you wish. If you do not have the financial ability to purchase this car please do not waste mine time. I will consider all REASONABLE offers. You cannot build this car for what I am asking.
