1992 Dodge D250 Cummins
Standard Cab Pickup
BODY TYPE
1992 Dodge Ram 2500 Description:
Completely stock Cummins with an estimated 175K miles on engine and truck. The odometer was broken when I bought it and two replacements have broken. I've owned the truck for several years and have done nothing to it except change the oil and filter using only Mopar filters. The transmission shifts fine and drives out perfectly.
The truck is very dry underneath and has hardly any rust. I was told it was never wrecked and see no reason to doubt that. The Toyo tires have 80% tread left with no patches. The old truck starts and runs great. I've never used the plug in block heater. It really doesn't even need to wait before immediately starting. The A/C blows cold air and the power windows work fine.
You can see the dents and dings on the body and the worn out paint. It looked just like this when I bought it about eight years ago. Other than my daughter borrowing it for a daily driver for about 7 months this last year it has been sitting in my barn and used only as my second truck. I've tried to describe this truck as best as I can. The pictures will show that it could possibly win an ugly truck contest. But, it would be the most dependable workhorse of an ugly truck. Would certainly be a great truck to drive forever or restore. The engine alone is worth more than the truck. If you want, look at it like buying an unmolested Cummins diesel engine that starts immediately and runs perfectly and getting a decent old Dodge truck free lol.
