VINTAGE 1979 DODGE LIL RED EXPRESS PICKUP TRUCK - TROPHY WINNER. FIRST OF THE FACTORY MUSCLE TRUCKS. WAS THE FASTEST OFF THE SHOWROOM FLOOR VEHICLE IN 1979!! Has 51,018 original miles. Only a little over 5000 ever made. A rare truck to find in this condition, this model was only made 2 years 1978 and 1979. No dents or rust. Has the original V8 360 Police Interceptor engine with the original factory cam that made this truck a rocket. Automatic transmission. The original red interior is in fantastic condition, including the carpet, dash and seats. I have owned this great truck for 4 1/2 years. It runs perfect. I have won numerous trophies at car shows. Beautiful Canyon Red paint and real wood sides and bed. The tires are like new on mag wheels. Also like new duplicate of the original stainless steel dual exhaust system. All essential safety parts have been replaced such as brake system, front end components, etc. This is a real head turner everywhere I take it! I saw one in same condition as this one sold at Mecum Collector Car Auction in Harrisburg, Pa. for $40K a couple of years ago. See pics for details.
