Beautiful 1940 Custom Dodge Rest Mod Pick up. Same Oregon owner last 35 years.Compete Custom frame off restoration completed 3 years ago.Frame boxed and Speedway 6 inch drop front end with disc brakes. Ford spindles.Radial Tires.Body taken to bare metal and repainted in METALIC gold.All new glass and mouldings.Frenched in 59 Cadillac tail lights.The motor is a 1961 Mopar 383 block professionaly rebuilt.Forged crank,speed pro Pistons,fully balanced,all ARP Bolts,10.3:1 comp ratio runs on pump gas.Heads are 915 castings with full Comp 270 cam kit with roller rocker arms.MSD Ignition,Edlebrock Performance intake manifold with Holley 650 carb.Ron Davis big Aluminum Radiator.Mopar 727 Auto trans with D rail cooler and fan.8 3/4 rear end and tall 2:96 gears.Great freeway cruiser.Headers with full racing exhaust. Remote oil filter. 19 gallon fuel tank.
Full custom interior looks very nice and has the period correct heater box that works great.12 volt electrical system.S&W gauges,Locar Shifter,billet gas pedal,electric wipers and custom headliner.All done in Gold and white.Hood top available but never fitted to truck.
