Up for sale is my 1968 shortbox, stepside, Dodge pickup, in amazing original condition.I have owned this truck for 23 years.I had big plans for it, but old age and health problems have snuck up on me.I was never going to sell this truck because it's the most rust free early Dodge I have ever seen. There is no undercoating on this truck, it still has original factory paint on the underside and it has most of its original paint on the frame.This truck has been stored in dry storage all its life. It has been sitting for a number of years so it's going to need to be gone through (brakes and so on).I had it running this Spring and it still runs like a champ, smooth as glass.The tires still have good tread, but are old, although they've never lost any air.This is a very desirable color.It has some patina on the hood, but it rubs off with your hand.I have tons of extra parts that I've collected over the years, including a factory bucket seat from a 1968 truck, with center storage and armrest.I had it re-upholstered to factory specs and have it stored away.I have extra tailgates, including a new take off that was removed from a 1968 truck when new, steps in mint condition, a painted grille and front bumper, both in mint condition.I also have a new old stock rear bumper, all of which the buyer will have first refusal to buy.This would make an excellent truck to restore, or drive as is, there are very few left in this original condition.I also have 3 other early Dodge trucks for sale, one being a 1962 shortbed, custom cab, big back window, factory white-face gauges and chrome bumpers and grille.I will be happy to send additional pics upon request.Feel free to call Lee with any questions at 541-472-8604 (Grants Pass, Oregon).Please do not text, as I do not text.Call for a buy it now price -this truck is for sale locally so the auction may end at any time.
