1972 Challenger
1972 Dodge Challenger Description:
No Reserve!
1972 Challenger H code 340 car, now with good running 318 engine and slap-stick auto. Rear is 8.75 with 3:23 Sure-Grip. Rallye fender scoops. 1970 style rear spoiler. Car runs and drives nice, sounds good.
Interior looks nice, with recovered buckets seats, new head-liner, nice door panels and carpet. Original dash pad is cracked, but looks good with the dash cap in place.Original console in good shape. Some after market gauges have been installed in dash. I have stock gauges which will be included in sale. They are seen behind driver seat in one photo.
New sharp looking Centerline style wheels, new tires.Power disc brakes have been completely rebuilt and work well.Car has factory manual steering.New aluminum radiator.Aluminum valve covers and air cleaner.
Car still looks good but has minor rust. The worst spots are on passenger door, and a spot on left and right rockers. Floor pans look to have been replaced and are okay, with one rust spot shown near frame rail in one photo. Trunk floor is original and still in good shape. Frame rails are good. Area behind back window looks good. Door jambs are good. Chrome is pitted on door mirrors. I have included photos of the worst rust spots I could find, and also a couple showing the solid frame.
This Challenger is way in way better shape than most being sold on eBay at this price. Good, solid, running and driving 340 car. Hard to find a decent Challenger like this anymore...
