1978 Dodge Little Red Express Tribute. Started life as a very clean 2WD 1978 Dodge pickup. Also had an actual 1978 real Little Red Express pickup with a very bad body, so converted 2 trucks into one. Has all the correct Little Red Express options, including factory tach and factory cb. Original stacks, air cleaner, step boards, seats, etc. As far as I can tell, everything is original Little Red Express equipment except the engine, trans, and wheels. It even has the original Little Red Express fender tag with all the options. The truck is extremely solid with no rust, except for a small spot that is just starting on the drivers door. Has a Dodge 400 big block in it now instead of the 360. Also an aluminum 3 core radiator to keep it cool. The truck is tight and a wonderful driver, and I have driven it to Chryslers at Carlisle for 4 of the last 5 years with no issues. The paint job on the truck is very amateur, and has a lot of orange peel. And a lot of the woodwork will need to be restrained. NONE of the woodwork is rotten, just weathered and should be refinished. The tires are ok but should be replaced due to age, not wear. Everything works on the truck, but the tach does stick sometimes. Too much to tell, but it is a great driver that gets a lot of attention wherever it goes.
