1968 Dodge Coronet Super B Description:

1968 Dodge Coronet Super B newly completely restored. Original 383 engine rebuilt in excellent condition and original configuration. Built in Los Angeles (E) #109162 with the upgraded 383-4v-330hp engine. Restored completely down to metal, with all suspension, engine, body and interior done at Vintage Vehicles. Restoration to original paint color and white interior and vinyl top. Less than 1,000 miles since restoration. Super B trim added.

1968 Dodge Coronet Super B newly completely restored. Original 383 engine rebuilt in excellent condition and original configuration. Built in Los Angeles (E) #109162 with the upgraded 383-4v-330hp engine. Restored completely down to metal, with all suspension, engine, body and interior done at Vintage Vehicles. Engine was in good running condition before the rebuild. Rebuild retained original pistons, arms,valves and other major parts but replaced standard rebuild items like gaskets and exhaust manifolds. Newcarburetor of original 4 bbl make/type. Transmissionoverhauled using a kit, and a newtorque converter installed.Restoration to original paint color and white interior and vinyl top. Less than 1,000 miles since restoration. Super B trim added. Some metal work on lower rear quarter panels. See additional pics for pans prior to covering with carpets etc. New under car pictures to show new condition of suspension and undercarriage.

Limited owner history available. It has the original black and yellow California license plate and we believe has been in California the whole time.With the same license plate perhaps earlier records can be obtained. From documents in hand,during 2008-2010, it was owned by someone in Richmond California. It was sold to someone in Novato CA, in 2010. I bought it from him in 2014. The full restoration was very expensive to bring the carback to new condition. The engine was in good condition and running well, but was rebuilt. The interior was entirely redone from scratch and all of the suspension and undercarriage fixed to new condition. See the additional pictures.

Answers to questions from the shop that did the work, "As far as the engine goes, all the normal internal parts were replaced. I think I just put on the invoice 'engine kit', but that is all the normal parts, which would be:valves, springs, pistons, rings, main bearings, rod bearings, cam bearings, camshaft, lifters, oil pump, expansion plugs, fasteners, timing gears and chain. Then on top of that would be all the machining work necessary to do a proper rebuild.On the body, the q-panels were replaced along with many different sections of the outer body. The trunk was actually in good shape. It just needed to be stripped and treated before the paint work."
