1966 Dodge Other Pickups Description:

The motor was rebuilt just two weeks ago by Mario's Auto here in Dallas and it got all it's power back. It wis truly a strong truck again. The differential was also rebuilt.
The transmission is a standard 4 speed on the floor with granny first.
Custom aluminum radiator built by Champion Cooling in Lake Elsinore, CA was added by Sovereign Service here in Dallas.
Power steering also added by Sovereign.
AC/heat by Vintage Air was also installed by Sovereign at the same time.
Updated aluminum intake as well as carburetor were installed by Nor-Tex Garage in Duncanville, TX.
All electrical wires and sockets were updated with a new harness by Kwik Wire installed by Carl's Automotive in Red Oak, Tx. (More than $4k only in electrical)
Original wheels found at CTC Auto Ranch in Denton, TX.
The radio was a long search. It took 4 years to find the correct radio. I didn't want to drill a rare radio access and the original radio has a unique pattern. The seller said radio was working when pulled out but it is not connected. The circuit from the new harness is ready for it.
I love this truck. It was originally sold by Gould Motor Co. in Liberal, KS. on 5/21/1966 I have the original Operator's Manual with the first service noted on 9/28/1966.
My Wife and I took her to a couple of car shows and enjoyed having a rare truck. Lots of Fords and Chevys, but Sweptlines are a rarity. In one car show we found a person who had a 1966 inspection sticker and even gave us the correct location for it on the windshield.
