1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Description:

For sale, 1970 R/T Challenger. Vehicle has been kept in a climate controlled garage for the last 20 years and has only been driven on sunny days. This is a true R/T car.The 383 Big Block was rebuilt a few years ago. I have all the receipts from the engine build. The cam has a small healthy chop to it. The full true dual exhaust has a solid engine note. The long tube headers are ceramic coated and the Magnaflow mufflers give the car a real mean sound at speed. As it sits the engine produced 325 hp and 425 ft lbs of torque on the engine dyno.The transmission was rebuilt ten years ago and had larger accumulators put in for crisper shifts between gears. The rear end is a 391 posy.The interior plastics are crack free and not sun damaged. The seats still have all their stitching and are in amazing shape for their age. The carpets and floor mats are unstained and worn very little considering the age of the car. The steering column is in great shape and there is very little play in the wheel. The tires were replaced last year. The Radial T/A tires are staggered in size for a more muscle car look and they hook up very well when you launch the car.The body is overall in great shape as you can see from the pictures. All the panels line up. The sheet metal is in great shape the original fuel filler neck is still in the trunk. The undercarriage is clean and rust free.There are very few blemishes on this car, the glass does have some scratches and there are 2 small cracks in the paint on the drivers quarter panel. Other than that the paint has a healthy shine to it and the vinyl top is tear free and is not faded.You will be hard pressed to find a 47 year old car this clean.More pictures and information are available upon request.
