1970 Dodge Charger R/T matching #'s Factory A/C Red

1970 Dodge Charger collectible Description:

1970 Dodge Charger R/T original matching numbers engine with 111,318 miles. Engine is all original block,heads,intake & exhaust manifolds.Even has original exh "H" pipe. I believe the Carter AVS carb is original too. I have an AAMCO receipt from when the original owner had the transmission rebuilt in 1974 at 51,502 miles. But the trans numbers don't match.Possibly the transmission was an exchange rebuilt? The driveshaft & rear end appear to be original. The Charger starts,runs,sounds,drives & handles excellent. The car was purchased new in Texas in Feb 1970 & the owner moved to Colorado where the car remained until 2006 when I bought it. So, not very long in Minnesota & I kept it stored in dry conditions. It is equipped with console auto trans,factory A/C,power steering & power disc brakes. When I got the car it still had on the original 14" Ralleye wheels. I still have them & all the trim rings & center caps. I replaced them with 15x7 &15x8 new Ralleyes. In 2006 I replaced all 4 ball joints, inner & outer tie rods,front brake pads,rotors calipers,rear brake shoes & hardware. Still has the left hand lug studs & nuts on drivers side. Also replaced spark plugs,plug wires,cap & rotor. In 2010 went through cyl heads & installed hardened valve seats & valve seals. Also in 2010 had the transmission gone through. The high & low beam headlights,tail,signal,side marker & brake lights all work. The windshield wipers work,tic-tock tach works but reads high at higher RPM's,clock still works,gas gauge recently stopped working. The HVAC fan works on all speeds, but the mode & temp slide buttons are stuck. The electric headlamp motor works but the plastic gears are stripped that open the lamp doors.Have to open headlamp doors with factory turn dial on motor behind grill. The interior is in overall good cond. 5 or 6 narrow cracks in upper dash pad & ft door upper panels.The seat belts lay over the separated seams in the rear seat bottoms.Carpet is faded but no holes.Headliner looks ok but has a few 1/2" & smaller holes.All seat belts & buckles are good, even ft shoulder straps. All glass is factory tinted & excellent. All windows & doors open & close good.The body is in overall very good condition.It is factory undercoated so the floors,subframe & underbody are rock solid.Trunk floor is very solid & no holes.Drivers side qtr. & ft fender have 6 or 7 hard door dings/dents from previous owner storage.See pictures for the only minor rust spots.Vinyl top is dry,cracked & peeling.Both bumpers have one minor dent.Ft bumper has plant parking permit from 1976!The only thing I have done to the body is buff the paint.Feel free to call me after 7pm CST @ 507-676-4356 Thanks, Dave
