It is with a heavy, heavyheart that I finally sell my beloved 1970 Roadster. Have owned this car over a decade. It has brought years of enjoyment and lots of memories. Alas, children's tuition, braces, and life's never ending surprises have left me no choice but to simply offer the car for sale so that the next caretaker can continue the enjoyment.VIN: SPL311-27664 Mileage reads: 36,327Look at what I'm offering, not just the car but alas a parts collection as well. Hardtop with Porthole side windows, Tonneau, Boot cover, Top and bows, Nice used tan convertible top, Car Cover, (2) Doors with good glass, extra front windshield,an extra engine,an extra block (still in the plastic), box of carbs, rear diff, fuel tank, extra OEM steering wheel, marker lights, head, intake, fuel rail, pulley, crank, gauges, trim pieces, workshop manual, transmission,extra trunk lid, Spare tire on rim in the trunk, (2) extra14-inch radial tires, extra chrome Datsun valve cover, antennas, switches, ignition trim cover (2), seat belt buckles, (2) Datsun OEM nameplates, (2) Brake drums, (2) Fans, Manifold, Driveshaft, Glove box door, extra Shift plate surround, OEM Trunk Mat, Polished Datsun Alum. Valve cover, etc. The car comes with 2 sets of keys as well, extra trunk, distributor, headlight bucket,extra trunk lock and hood latch, extra chrome hood surround, extra sun visors, (2) extra back up lights (reverse) with clear glass. I pulled the engine and transabout 2 yearsago and replaced the clutch, during that time it was evident that much had been neglected. So, gaskets, seals, clamps, hoses, filters, rope seals, battery, fuel pump, transmission service, belts, plugs, points, condenser, wires, cap,master brake cylinder,clutch salve cylinder,clutch, timing, etc. Were repaired, rebuilt, replaced or adjusted. Since then, I barely drive it. Instead, running to school sports events, practices, etc. Not complaining, but a 2 seater with 2 teenagers and their friends is not family-friendly. It's a shame to just let it sit in the garage all covered up waiting for that perfect day to take it for a drive. So, The winning bidder gets everything: The car, the parts, the spares. I do not want to be tempted into doing another car. And, quite frankly, I'm not knowledgeable to do so. The car is a nice driver. Turns heads and gets thumbs up whenever I take it out. It's a perfect "Cars and Coffee" cruiser.

What doesn't come with the car as pictured? The rear BEAUMONT emblem. (That's my nickname) It came off of a Canadian GM Beaumont. It is mounted via two-sided 3M tape. I have the OEM Datsun one. Every car has a story. I have longed for a Datsun roadster since I was a kid in Cub Scouts. My Dad's colleague had a new one and use to give me a ride in it after Scouts. (So, this car promotes lots of memories). I always said I would own one someday. Well, I did and here it is. It's been a lot of fun. No Regrets!
