1970 California Datsun 521 Pickup starting @ $1970 with no reserve.
Truly exceptional condition. I found this little truck in Jackson Ca where it has been since new (with it's original owner until last year). No rust, 1 repaint in original color. Very solid, sound example.
Truck was in fantastic original shape to start with, but ready for some differed maintenance. Along with adding all the period hotrod stuff, parts & labor, here is how it sorts out...
MOTOR:Original 1600. Believed to be 74,938 original miles.New timing chain, head gasket, top end seal kit, new Weber carb (original included w/air cleaner), new header (original exhaust manifold included), new 2" custom exhaust, polished valve cover, motor detail, and all the tune up stuff, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor, new battery, etc. Runs strong. No leaks, smoke or excuses.Transmission & Clutch:Excellent shifting original 4 speed with a newer clutch. No leaks, fussy gears, grinding, slipping, etc.SUSPENSION:Rebuilt king pins and bushings. New shocks. 4" lowering blocks rear, re indexed torsion bars up front and then a complete front end alignment. Brakes serviced and in good working order, new pads and related misc. worn parts replaced.4 new 195/65R15 V rated Dunlop SP Sport 600 tires mounted on vintage, original 15x7 fully polished slot mags with new lugs and caps.This 521 handles like a slot car with a firm, confident feel yet very tolerable ride.EXTERIOR:Very nice survivor level condition. Straight, sound, accident free & rust free. Paint still shines up nicely. Nicks, chips, scratches, and misc dings are present, conducive with age. Excellent all original glass.INTERIOR:Also very nice survivor level condition. Everything works (horn, wipers, heater/defrost, dome light, all gauges, blinkers, high and low beams, parking brake etc. Radio lights up, but no speaker).
Original owners manuals, books, jack, spare, tools w/toolbag and extras included (see pic below).
Original wheels, caps and brand new mounted P185/75R14 Hankook White Wall tires also included (see pic below).

This one is as fun to drive as it looks like it would be! I built it that way on purpose. It is an exact replica of my first love back when I got my drivers license in 1986. Examples like this simply don't come around often, let alone fully sorted. Turnkey, no excuses.
