This is a super nice Low Vin, fully restored Series 1 240Z in excellent condition all around!! This Z car underwent a full restoration prior to my ownership and I did extensive mechanical work on it as well. The car is unmolested with the exception of minor tasteful enhancements. It retains its matching numbers drivetrain with a few performance mods. Super straight with beautiful paint... she's a looker AND a runner! This little Z would be an awesome weekend cruiser, daily driver, or addition to any collection.
The body is rust free with no collision damage that I can see. Excellent driver quality Re-Paint presents beautifully with only the most minor blemishes... Frame, floors, and chassis are solid. Doors close tight and windows work nice. Period correct slotted mag rims and excellent tires (ask about rim options if you dont like these... I have plenty). Get's tons of looks and compliments everywhere we roll.
The interior is fabulous as well... panels, carpet, and seats all look great... I assume dash is cracked under the full face molded cover. Gauges, lights, and electronics all work properly. Previous owner installed oil pressure gauge where the clock goes... I will include a working clock or have it installed if buyer prefers. Nice modern sound system with bluetooth works great.
Original L24 motor starts idles and runs fantastic... I believe it was rebuilt but no records for that... it's powerful and runs excellent. Carbs tuned perfectly! Original 4-speed Trans had issues so I replaced it with an upgraded 4 speed... it shifts smooth and strong through the gears!! I have the original to go with the car. Suspension feels tight and provides excellent ride and brakes stop straight and sure. Strong, powerful, and reliable... freshly serviced and tuned... ready to roll.... definite daily driver capable.
Overall this is a really cool Classic Z in great condition all around. I am a Z collector. This one makes a great investment and/or Awesome Weekend Cruiser, daily driver, or whatever you like. Great for any enthusiast, collector, or anyone looking for a cool and unique Vintage sports car at a great price.
