1994 Daihatsu Other Climber Description:

Low miles (~60k) Daihatsu Hijet Climber DUMP (Japanese: ダイハツ・ハイゼット) a top-rated Kei truck in Japan (of which this is the top level trim). Made by Toyota (similar to HiAce and Hilux) made since 1960. This truck is just about the earliest model available in the US for registration (1994, thus just at 25 years to qualify as an “antique”/“classic”). I’ve already had the truck fully inspected, repairs made since arriving from Japan (exhaust, horn, lights, washers, paint retouching, plastic restoration) and gone through the painstaking process of having it registered (a multi-day/costly process) that you do not have to as opposed to buying an unregistered truck that “may” be able to be registered. Used Vehicle Condition Grade 4 (of 5). I've driven this between CT and Baltimore, it is a truely amazing truck. Any job you want to do, this Hijet will do it.
These trucks are amazing for off-roading, farming, landscaping, hunting, construction. They can fit on trails other trucks cannot. They can drive on moist grass without denting yards like heavy trucks. You can attach a snowplow or blower to the front and even plow sidewalks. You can install a winch, hitch or customize this truck in countless numbers of ways. Popular upgrades are LED bars, brush guards, roof racks, gun racks, toolboxes, and even military (tank-like) tracks. You can also supercharge or turbo the stock engine.
ENGINE runs strong and smooth. Shows signs of being regularly maintained.
BODY has been touched up and shows no signs of major repairs or accidents. The steel commercial grade dump bed has some rust/corrosion on the passenger side that has been treated.
INTERIOR passenger seat is new, the driver's seat has a cover and is works significantly under the cover. Includes the optional floor mat.
DUMP is a PTO commercial-grade mechanical dump (drivetrain powered) which is considered by most to be the best versions, especially for heavy lifting.
WHEELS TIRES which are included are 12” OEM steelies with worn 155/80R12 tires. Can throw in the optional 13x4.5 upgraded OEM wheels with NEW all-season 175/75r13 tires for $500.
BRAKES fully functional, in good health.

Eighth generation Daihatsu Hijet Truck 4WD (S110P) JapanThe eighth-generation Hijet entered the marketplace in January 1994, after having first been shown at the 30th Tokyo Motor Show in October 1993, and continued to be built until replaced by the ninth generation in 1999. "S100" was used for two-wheel-drive versions, while four-wheel-drives were coded "S110". The suffix "P" was for trucks, "C" for panel vans, and "V" for glazed vans. A fuel-injected, SOHC 6-valve engine with 44 PS (32 kW) (EF-ES) was standard on automatic cars and optional on five-speed manuals, which otherwise received a carbureted version with two horsepower less. From January 1996, automatics received a twin-cam 12-valve carbureted version of the EF engine (EF-GS), still with the same power. The Hijet competes in Japan with the Honda Acty, Mitsubishi Minicab, Nissan Clipper, Subaru Sambar and Suzuki Carry. Also called:• Daihatsu Atrai• Daihatsu Extol• Daihatsu Gran Max• Daihatsu Hi-Max• Daihatsu Luxio• Daihatsu Zebra• Piaggio Porter• Mitsubishi Jetstar• Subaru Dias Wagon• Subaru Sambar• Toyota Sparky• Toyota Pixis Truck• Toyota Pixis Van• Perodua Rusa
This is a RHD imported truck from Japan. There it's called a Kei Truck (like the Kei Cars, Suzuki Cappachino, Honda Beat, Mazda Autozam AZ-1, or Suzuki Alto)
