1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Convertible

Mopar Time Capsule. Current ownership 40 years.
We are this seller's broker/agent. Offering a 1963 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Convertible. TMU, odometer states 93k. The owner purchased this car in 1984 and kept it under a cover until a significant restoration was begun in 2016. Since then, the restoration has been a passionate hobby and a labor of love. The pictures attached were taking only a few weeks ago. The original paint color was black, but the new red paint looks incredible and is nearly flawless. The pictures don't do the car justice. The interior is almost all-new upholstery with the exception of the original door armrests. They still look great and lend to the authenticity of the vehicle. The loop pile carpeting looks correct for the vintage and looks like new. The convertible top is tight and looks like it was just recently replaced as well as the rear window and tonneau boot.
To this owner's knowledge, there was no bondo or fillers used when removing any rust from metal in preparation for new paint. And we agree as it has been 7 years since the body work and new paint. If any bondo was used to or rust patches were not cut out and replaced with metal, it would have showed up by now.
The trunk mat is new and genuine Mopar issued. The original brochure pictures comes with the car to the new owner.
We know firsthand of the seller's integrity, having known him for over 50 years and watched him build a very successful bank as its president, close to the school that we attended together. The character and integrity of the work that was done is representation of his 40-year love affair with this car and of its care and restoration is second to none.

An untimely illness in the family has caused the motivation for the seller to find a trusted new owner for his old friend.
