Started it's long life in California but moved to Arizona shortly thereafter (early 70s).
Good, solid, straight, classic, nearly original cruiser with loads of power and a good-as-new transmission. All chrome is great and still there. Paint is faded with some nice patina coming through. Running, driving Mopar C-Body - stand out from the sea of mustangs and Camaros with this huge “land yacht”!
The good:
Professionally rebuilt transmission in 2021
Champion aluminum radiator with dual electric fans
Holley 570 Street Avenger 4-barrel carburetor (factory 2-barrel car), recently tuned with brand new throttle kick down assembly
All four drums rebuilt in 2017, along with suspension repairs completed, undercarriage detailing, full gas tank restoration/cleaning.
The bad:
Instrument cluster fully intact, but needs repairs.
Front seat needs re-upholstering, back seat is great but has some small tears.
Half of the headliner is cut out and cleaned up - was prepping for replacement.
Carpet in front driver side damaged
Front dash cracked
Car has an older, aftermarket AC system, but has not been charged in many years. Blower motor under the dash still works.
The ugly:
Some rust/rot in the front seat floor pans, needs to be cut out and replaced (from AC condensation leak)
Note: mileage approximate, odometer needs repair.
