1942 Chrysler Windsor Description:

I've had this car for a few years now, and it is still sitting in the same spotas when I brought it home. Unless I win the lottery (not likely), I'll neverget to it. My inspiration came from looking up 1942 Chrysler on line, and"view images of." There are a few Black Windsor Coupes pictured and Ireally like the way they look.
The car needs a total restoration, although the cylinder head had been rebuiltby the previous owner shortly before I bought the car. I've never had it running,but again, the previous owner had it running off a gas can. Car seems to bepretty solid, but there are a few places with rust-through, such as the rockerpanels and some spots on the floor adjacent to them, w/ some spots in floorboardsand in the panel in the trunk where the trunk lid latches, spare tire well, side seams, as seen in the photos, I have the exterior stainless trim pieces for the grill and fenders. There is only one skirt. Passenger side front windshield is cracked. Tires hold air but are quite old.

Car was originally dark gray with the oxblood leather interior.
Car is worth restoring. Just how many 1942 Chrysler Coupes are left?
