1986 Chrysler Conquest Tsi Turbo (Starion) Description:

I have owned 2 of these cars and this is the nicest one I have ever driven. This is a mechanically sound daily driver level car. Engine was professionally rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago (receipts come with car). Has A top end performance jet valve deleted head and turbonetics t3/t4 turbo kit. Bottom end was completely rebuilt as well, but the block is numbers matching to the car. Car is set to factory boost levels for reliability and longevity. Only synthetic fluids. All lights and switches in interior work. Headlights work great! Car has brand new 2.5 inch exhaust from turbo all the way back with a flow master muffler. Has auto-meter/and aftermarket temp, oil, turbo, air to fuel ratio gauges that all work in supplement to the working stock gauges as well (more accurate) . Car has a short throw shifter. Also has the 86 manual door mounted turbo seat-belts. Car does have an inter cooler for the turbo installed. Mas air flow sensor is fully operational. Car has a sunroof that works. All seals are water tight . Took the car through a car wash for the listing and not a single leak. Car Has hard to find overseas Starion model tail lights. Seats are Aftermarket for an RX-7. Interior is in unbelievable shape. Original front seats are gone, but original rear seat is still installed. Headliner was just redone, and rear hatch has original carpet spare tire cover with straps. Original spare is also still mounted in hatch. Dash is in amazing shape. Cooling system was completely re-done. Has a new radiator and 3 electric fans. 2 red for primary and a 3rd black fan for extra hot days stuck in traffic (original radiator and fans included in the sale. It still works and was replaced as a preventative mx item). All electrical Fuze-able links have been replaced (known problem area on conquests).
Only known problems are
- A.C. The Compressor is installed but the belt is not installed on the pulley. Haven't tried or tested the system but all system components are there and the auto climate control panel works ( Car also comes with a working hvac panel spare as well).
-Needs front sway bar end links and bushings. Car comes with brand new end-links and bushings ready to install from Engine Machine Services.
-Needs rear diff mounts. Very rare parts but I have bought them and they come with car ! Ready to install nos mounts.
Car comes with 3 boxes full of spare and rare parts. including original radio and steering wheel. (see photo for spreadsheet) Car could easily be converted back to a stock interior if new owner feels so inclined.
Have harness and ecus for 86 87 and 89 so you can run whatever you want. Car is still set up as an 86 (see photo for spreadsheet).
Original turbo was professionally rebuilt and comes with the boxes of spare parts (see photo for spreadsheet).
Car also comes with a 1986 dealer service manual.
Car has been tastefully modded for reliability but it is in original fashion. As in you can use the service manual to work on this car. Boost is managed by the stock 86 computer. Has a very well maintained Stock Throttle body injection setup. No leaks. It does have new fuel injector harnesses on it. Has a fuel cut module on the dash from a previous owner but it is not hooked up. You could use that to eliminate the factory fuel cut if you choose to up the boost but I wouldn't. Since motor was rebuilt car has been set to factory boost levels. These motors last a long time if you keep the boost at factory levels. Everything works except what was noted. The rear hatch struts even work and have been replaced. Hatch holds itself up !
Car was in early stages of a paint job. Areas highlighted in primer were areas that needed body work. Just a couple of pin holes in rear wheel wells, easily repaired by a professional paint shop. Frame rails are in good shape, have some of the typical dents from jacks over the years but the car is solid.
Car is very solid. With a paint job this is a top 10 % car

Car is priced to move. A lot of money is invested into this car. With a paint job this would be a hard car to beat. If you are into the Star-quest world you know cars this nice are getting real hard to find. This car was built mechanically first, and looks second unlike many others on the market. First bidder is already the potential new owner. NO RESERVE !
