1947 Chrysler Windsor Description:

1947 Chrysler Windsor 2 door. True barn find. My father-in-law and his brother drove their mom's car to California from Oregon around 50 years ago, on the drive home the motor started making a noise so they parked it in the garage, covered it up and its sat there every since. They said it was like new inside and out when they parked it. Now it's time to find it a new home. Can't find the title but by looking up the serial number it appears to be a 1947 2 door Chrysler Windsor but I can't guaranteethat. Car has endless possibilities. A beautiful car for someone who wants to restore it. Rats or mice did get into the car. I Can't find the keys and this is being sold as is, no returns. The body is in great shape for the year, I haven't found any major rust spots, just some minor surface rust hear and there, the roof on the old garage that it was stored in didn't leak it just had rats in the trash that was built up on and around it. This car hasn't been started in over 50 years so I won't guaranteeanything. The mileage reads 03441 but I have no idea if it's been turned over or not. I can haul it to a local shipping company if you arrange and payfor the shipping if needed. It looks all original to me but I am not a car expert so I'm not sure and my wife's Grandma who owned the car passed away a couple years ago, now the family is asking me to sell it for them.
