1955 Chrysler 300 Series -- Description:
Only 1725 made. In it's day it had mega horsepower 300. That's what the 300 designates in its name. Its a luxury performance car. It won many Nascar races and it also has a very sophisticated look. It featured a genuine leather interior power accessories real wire wheels performance exhaust stiffer suspension and of course a Hemi engine. Known as the Hemi Firepower it has solid lifters race cam and two 4 barrel carbs. This car has its original #s match motor with correct batwing air cleaner. Sold new in New Mexico. 1st owner had the car 30 years. More recently owned by a Chrysler 300 club member in CAlifornia. Rock solid original underside. Good clean body good paint good chrome. Interior is very nice. Has soft leather seating a clean dash area. Seat belts have been added. Trunk has carpet/cardboard liner with jack and 5th wire wheel spare. This is a special car for many reasons. Heck this tank was the fastest American production car built in 1955. Includes a trunk full of awards!
