1983 Chrysler Cordoba - 318 V8

1983 Chrysler Cordoba Description:

New pictures! Ones taken before were in the Winter and there was a blue tint to them. I do not know why this car has not sold. It has a lot of life left.
Here we have a 1983 Chrysler Cordoba. The car runs well and always starts even on cold frigid days. The body is in great condition. There are no dents
and very few minor dings. The vinyl top is gray and needs at some point replacing. Refer to 2 of the photos that show the areas of concern. They are atthe rear of the top below the window and one just above the driver side door. The paint on the car is in very good condition. There are no rust areas on the body. I believe it has been repainted at some point....but the car shows great. I bought this car some 4 and 1/2 years ago from a dealer in Iowa. I donot know the history of the car beyond that. The car has air conditioning but I have never had it charged with freon. The radio is an AM/FM radio with cassette. The cassette does not work. It has an added on Sony CD player that is located in the trunk. I know it powers on, but have never put a CD in.Tires are in good condition and the RWL's add to the look of this car. I also have never set the clock....and it has 2 of them. I do have the owners manual.When I purchased the car I had intentions of putting a white vinyl top on the car and have the seats covered in white vinyl. However my age is catching up on me and those plans have gone away. The car is driven 1 or 2 times a week since I have had it, and garaged about half the time I have owned it. Theinterior is blue velour which was the thing with cloth interiors at that time. It does not have the Corinthian Leather that was heavily advertised at that time.I consider the interior to be in good condition. There are no cracks in the dash. Some of the plastic wood panels are faded in places. Has what I believe to be the original carpet floor mats. Mats and carpet are in good condition. The only item that I have had to replace was the generator.....or was it an alternator. It had a minor oil leak about a year ago that was fixed. The mileage on the car may or may not be accurate. It has 71K now and could be171K however. Either way it is low for a 35 year old car. Present running condition is good, no problems with steering and the car roles easily down the road. Gas mileage is about 17 -18 MPG city and 24 - 26m on the highway. The car is on a clear title. Vehicle is for pick up only....unless you arrange the transport. Car mustbe paid for before release.
