Exterior:

This 1971 K5 Blazer is in the original, very desirable Hugger Orange. As you can see from the pictures, this truck is rock solid. The paint was done years ago and although not perfect, it shines up nice. Some color sanding would go a long way if you really wanted to get it looking sharp.There are a few small rust bubbles on the front quarter panel, some rust along the top cargo area where the top assembly sits and some filler that is coming loose from where the previous owner smoothed over the "Chevrolet" letters on the tailgate.The wheels were Rhino lined and it has a set of 36" tires. It comes with a soft top (pictured) and a spare identical used one is also included. The top is nice, as the windows can be rolled up to make it a Bikini top, or you can easily remove it in about 5 minutes.
Interior:
The seats were just refurbishedand look great. We also put in new chrome door sills and replaced the chrome ashtrays in the rear seat. The floors were Rhino lined and it has the Family roll cage.
Mechanical:
This truck runs great. It starts right up without having to fuss with the gas pedal. The previous owner said that the engine, transmission and transfer case were all rebuilt with maybe 2500 miles on them, if that. The exhaust was also updated, it has a set of headers that run into a dual exhaust. It sounds great! It also has new Edelbrock valve covers and matching air cleaner, a new gas tank, new brake booster and master cylinder, high volume water pump and upgraded three row radiator, a new trans cooler and all new Painless wiring harness.
Needs:The previous owner upgraded the rear end, so the the front axle needs to be regeared to match. I believehe said it was upgraded to a 411 posi. The passenger door opens a bit hard, which looks to be a bad hinge. The radio face plate is missing, but we did not replace it as we thought we would leave that for the new owner to decide if they want to go back to original, or put something new in. It could use a new dash pad. The heater core assembly was not installed, but is included.
