1948 Chevrolet Stylemaster Description:

I took this car in on trade awhile back and its been fun but it needs new blood now...I am heading towards 70 and have a bad back...Now the facts on the car as I know them...This is the story I got when I took the car in trade...It had a amateur restoration in the 80s which consisted of rebuilding the motor and updating the running gear and interior...It has a S10 4sp and a S10 rear end which is far better then the old closed driveline set up...It is 5lug all the way around w/S10 wheels...12 volt alternator...The car sat for awhile which is why it has some rust...I scraped off the loose stuff and prepped with rust killer on most of the car floors...The worst part is the driver side inner and outer rocker...( See pictures )...The front floors are fairly solid (see pics)...The trunk is fairly solid I think there's a little bit at the bottom of the wheel well where the spare tire sits...Some of the windows work some don't haven't really messed with them...Very nice grill...The car is very straight and is complete and is definitely worth saving even the clock works...Headlights/taillights work...It runs great no smoke or weird noises...Clutch and brakes work fine....Its fun to drive and drives pretty well...Clean title...Washington collector plates...Tires are so so...Bear in mind this is a running driving project...Please see pictures for condition...Happy to answer any ?...No warrantees/guarantees car is sold in as is condition...Ask ?...I reserve the right to cancel this listing anytime due to a local sale....Fyi...It started to run a little ruff on me ending up being the gas tank so I pulled it and had it lined...There is a chance it may not be installed before auction ends...so keep that in mind...I do have an auxiliary gas tank in the trunk and I have been driving it that way...So far as shipping it will still start and stop for the shipper...also I noticed a little bondo bubbles below the rear taillights...Like I said before happy to answer any ?
