1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Silverado Description:

Restored 1986 Chevy K10 Frame up.
Frame: Everything has been stripped down to steel. Frame was sand blasted. Frame was on a rotisserie painted POR15 gloss black. Added a 4" rough country lift with poly bushings. the axles have been gone through with new seals and fluids. Rear Brakes have been completely rebuilt with new Napa parts. Front calipers and rotors are New with Napa parts.
Wheels: are 15"x10" Mickey Thompson's. 33x12.50r15 BFG KO1's. Engine: is a 350 bored .40 over, mild cam and completely balanced crank. Heads were sent off checked for cracks. Holley Intake, with a Holley 570 electric choke. Everything accessories were bought new through Napa. new Rebuilt steering gear box. Ac is all new and is Ice cold. New LMC fuel tanks with new fuel lines to the engine. New selector valve.
Interior: has been gone through with LMC parts, new complete door hinges, window motors, lock motors. Wire harness was not tampered with so it is original to the truck. Radio is stock look, with rear outputs for sub/amp hookups as well as iPod cord. Speakers are Kickers 4 in the dash and 4 in the headliner. Carpet has sound proofing insulation. Seat was reupholstered. Factory seat belts. all factory plastics besides the dash and door panels. kick panels with built in carpet. new plastic gauge panel. with factory gauges. New front windshield with built in antenna. all new weather stripping.
Exterior: is all original sheet metal to the truck. box and cab was on a rotisserie. sand blasted the inside of the cab, inside the box, under the cab, under the box. and every body panel was stripped with 80 Grit on a DA sander. then brought up and straighten. High build polyester primer twice. and primed, wet sanded to 600 grit. sealed. and painted with Axalta Nason brand paint. and cleared with Nason Clear. then cured for a week and was color sanded starting at 1000 grit, 1200 grit, 1500 grit, 2000 grit. and final sand was a foam pad and 3000 grit. Buffed with 4 stages and 3 compounds. started with a wool pad 3m white compound, white foam pad with white compound. then Black foam pad with black machine polish to remove swirls. and finished with blue pad and blue compound to seal the paint.
Trim: original tailgate band, chrome body trim, aluminum cab band, aluminum wheel wells. all new grille shell, headlight bezels.
