RARE CHANCE TOOWN AN ORIGINALCALIFORNIA 1956 CHEVY 2 DOOR BEL AIR HARD TOP with original paint and interior. This Bel air was built in Los Angles California and sold new at a local dealership. It was stored in the original owners garage from 1966 until 2012 when it was sold. The 90 plus year old original owner ordered this Bel air solid India Ivory with black and white interior. Most Bel air's had two tone paint jobs.The only options he ordered were the 265 V8 with 2 barrel carbureto, 2 speed power glide transmission, am radio and heater. The car had completetune upand service including transmission seals, engine gaskets, tune up, fluids changes, new tires, new gas tank, hoses and belts. The original interior has normal front seat wear. Paint has had touch up on trunk lid and passenger upper door areafrom the Chevy Dealer years ago. Body is rust free and has the normal parking lot paint chips. The rear fender at top has a small dent and drivers door has a slight crease. The car runs and drives great. Thisis aremarkable example of an original Southern California survivor. I reserve the right to end the auction early.
