Vehicle has been owned by a friend of mine for the last several years and driven on occasion to cruise nights, local car shows or for leisure only. I doubt he's put 500 miles a year on it if that. Always garaged indoors and covered. Serviced regularly and well maintained. Last service included NEW front calipers, NEW front brake lines, NEW battery, and NEW tune-up.
Starts right up, runs great, idles great, steers well and brakes well. You can get in and drive this car home if you wanted to.Mechanically in excellent shape with upgraded aluminum intake, upgraded Edelbrock carburetor and full length headers as well.
Body shows well and looks great from 20 feet but has various imperfections, small fiberglass cracks, scratches, small scuffs and general wear you'd expect on an older car. Needs to be repainted to do it justice, but I had it professionally wetsanded and buffed out to preserve it. ALL ORIGINAL BODY PANELS. All the bonding strips are still there and you can feel them with your hands. ALL THE GAPS ARE GREAT as well. Doors open and close perfect! Originally Elkhart green. Has NY reassigned vin.
Interior is in driver quality condition as shown and cleans up well, although not perfect of course. NO rips on seats, good dash, good door panels, top is in great shape with still clear back window (no rips/tears).
Underneath car has EXCELLENT frame and solid birdcage. End caps look great as well. NO welding or repair work.Overall this is a great NUMBERS MATCHING 350 4 speed cruiser that you can get in and drive right now as you restore to your liking down the line.
