If you've been wanting a nice '55 to build with REAL PATINA then here's your unicorn. This '55 BelAir has been in the Jackson, MS area since it was sold new at Milner Chevrolet. It has the original 265 V8 engine that runs great. The powerglide trans goes forward just fine but doesn't have reverse.
This car has a brand new set of floorpans that were just installed by a local restoration shop. We do have the seats but they will need to be completely redone...or just slap some indian blankets on 'em and ride. The back glass is good. The rest need to be replaced but you'll be surprised at how cheap glass is for these cars.
The best part to us is that patina. There are goobers who are paying thousands of dollars for their car to look like this one! We also have a 4.8 LS engine & overdrive auto trans available to go with the car. We think the best plan for this one is an LS swap, upgrade to disc brakes, and drive it just like it sits.
