For sale is this 1963 Split Window Coupe in Red over Red.
This is a matching numbers car with under 36,000 original miles.
This car is an early model with the rear footwells.
The car has gone through an extensive & expensive frame on restoration 3 yrs. ago.
It's a trophy winnerwherever it goes.
It has the original matchingnbrs 327/340hp engine, the close ratio 4spd Muncie transmission with the Hurst floor shift and the original rear end.

.I have owned this car for the past 21 yrs. The car wasoriginally purchased and stayed in Florida for 32yrs. Then sold to the 2nd owner in Ohio for 3 yrs. and then to me. It remained in Kentucky for 18 yrs and is now back in Florida where i live.
I had the undercarriage blasted and painted when I first bought it to prevent any rusting from up north. In the 21 yrs I haveowned it the car has always been in mytemperature controlled garaged and has never been in the rain.
The car had so many incorrect parts on it from the 2nd owner that i had to basically wait until I could afford to restore it. So for the first 10yrs I drove it every 2 wks to keep it lubricated. Then 8 yrs ago I started tracking down as many NOS parts as Icould locate andalso find correct GM parts.
Interior : Original speedometer, tachometer andclock sent out for rebuild. Original radio and rest of gauges work fine. New dash pad, vinyl seats, headliner and carpet were replaced. All new interior screws, window channels/felt replaced. All bulbs and wiring harnesses replaced. Vintage Air was added to make it more pleasant whiledriving.
Exterior: Allweatherstripping replaced. All glass, stainless window trim, bumpers (re-chromed) and wheel covers are original.Sidepipes were added for some tone. Quality car cover and many extra parts collected go with the car.
Undercarriage: Blasted and sealed. Correct GMnumbers for shocks, leaf spring, bushing kit, upper/lower ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm and polystabilizer link kit added.
Engine: Correct GM power steering has been added. All gaskets and seals replaced. Correct GM nbr intake manifolds, carter afb carb,andexhaust manifold have been installed.

The car is in overall excellent condition and needs nothing done to it. It looks and runs great, shifting is tight and accurate and car is ready to be drivenanywhere.
The bidding is set to start at 85,500.00only to weed out tire kickers anddealers who want to flip the car. The reserve is set at a low andreasonable amount for a car of this quality.
It's time for this car to go to a new owner whoappreciates it and can drive it more than me.
