Numbers matching unrestored 1966 Corvette convertible Barn Find. Original 327 - 300 hp engine and 3 speed transmission. Car runs, drives, and stops, but needs a full restoration. Recently completed brakes including master cylinder brake lines and calipers, parking brake, cooling system incl radiator, fan and water pump, new bumpers, rebuilt carburetor and flush gas tank, new shocks balanced and reconditioned wheels, new ignition key, door locks, rotor, points, plugs, plug wires, oil, gas pedal, bearings, water pump, power steering belts, battery, new soft top (not installed). New seat belts. Over $9K invested. Engine still smokes and needs to be rebuilt. Interior is complete but needs to be redone. Frame is solid with minor surface rust. I need to add the following description based on information I have learned about the car since creating the listing: The paint color is not original. According to the VIN plate the original color was Mosport Green. The vehicle was in a fender bender and had damage in the driver's rear quarter and the front clip. The rear quarter was repaired and the front clip was replaced with a one piece clip. The headlight motor is not currently working but may just need lubrication. The top of the spare tire case is included but the bottom door, spare tire, and jack are missing. The glove box appears to have been modified to install an after market A/C unit which is no longer present. The tires are new. There is a box of original motor and brake parts that will be included with the sale, but I do not have a list of what was saved. That being said, the vehicle will remain up for auction to the highest bidder and you are free to adjust your bids accordingly with this information. We will require a $500 non-refundable deposit at the close of the auction and full payment via bank wire or certified funds within 1 week of the close of the auction.
