Stock #: V18412 Exterior Color: Brandy wine Interior Color: Black Body Type: Hardtop Transmission: Turbo 400 Auto Engine: 454-375 H.P. Title Condition: Clear Body off frame restored. Same owner since 1995. We just pulled the car out of long term hibernation and did a major service including rebuilt motor.
EXTERIOR: Very clean body, it is straight, no rust. The paint is over 20 years old, if there was poorly repaired rust it would have come back. Has SS hood. It is a gorgeous brandywine color that looks stunning in the sunlight. Has a straight, glossy finish. Under garage lights you will aging in the paint. Has small checking on the roof. The bumpers are rechromed. Weatherstrips around the doors look new. Aluminum Cragar wheels have BFG tires, wider in back.
INTERIOR: Very nice. Correct upholstery and door panels were replaced. Carpet and headliner too. Has bucket seats with B&M ratchet shifter on the floor. Stock dash, even the Am radio. There is a Monster tachometer on the column with a gauge cluster below the dash.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: We just had the 454 professionally rebuilt ($5,700). It runs strong, fires right up, has a great idle. We also replaced the MSD ignition. Smooth firewall, deleted heat and wipers. It does have power steering and brakes.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Battery has been relocated to the trunk. All clean metal with spatter finish paint.
UNDERSIDE: We replaced the fuel tank, new high torque starter. The body was off the frame. The entire chassis was stripped and painted a gloss gray. Suspension was completely rebuilt during restoration. The floors are impressive. Clean metal painted brandywine as glossy as the topside. Has vintage ladder bars in back.
Here's the deal. This is tens of thousands cheaper then most 70 Chevelles we sell. It has so much going for it with room to make updates. As it sits the car is gorgeous, the fresh 454 sounds awesome, the body is clean. You want to add disc brakes, change wheels, make it your own: you can!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!

About Volo Auto Museum No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB. Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down. Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
