Stock #: V18672 Exterior Color: Garnet Red Interior Color: Black Houndstooth Body Type: Hardtop Transmission: Turbo 400 Auto Engine: 396-350 HP Title Condition: Clear Same owner the 16 years. She says it is a great driver! Several thousand dollars of maintenance receipts, the oil got changed regularly.
EXTERIOR: It's certainly a sharp looker. Dressed up with white hockey stick stripes, cowl hood, spoilers, exterior trim package, hideaway lights and no ugly vinyl top! You walk up to it you see glossy red paint, bright chrome. If you're going to get up close and do an inspection you will find minor imperfections. Overall the paint, chrome, rubber is all a 7. Not perfect but real good. Windshield looks like it's new. Has rally wheels with white letter tires.
INTERIOR: Has the very desirable houndstooth deluxe interior. This includes upgraded upholstery, molded door panels, rosewood trim on the dash and trim on pedals. It also features the factory gauge cluster in the console, tachometer and clock in the dash. Overall condition is very good. Like the outside it's a 7. Door panels are in very nice shape, has some wear on the edges. Dash pad is excellent. Clock and gauges all work. Console, carpet, headliner is good. Upholstery looks great but has a split at a seam in the back seat. Upgraded stereo with 6x9 speakers in back.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: 396 motor runs strong, upgraded with aluminum intake with a dual feed Holley carb, Hooker headers and MSD ignition. Dressed up with chrome alternator, billet pulleys with serpentine belt, billet power steering bracket. The hoses all have braided stainless steel. Overall the motor compartment is very respectable. Its clean and painted nice.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Trunk floor is rock solid, it's been sprayed gray and aqua spatter finish. Has new mat and weatherstrip.
UNDERSIDE: Front end has been gone through as needed- upper balljoints, upper control arm bushings, idler arm, sway bar bushings and shocks look recent. New power steering pump, hose and gear box. Has frame connectors to reduce body flex. Custom fat exhaust with cross over pipe and stainless mufflers. Turbo 400 automatic was rebuilt 1 year ago, has receipt $2,552. Has extra capacity, finned aluminum oil pan. Original code BS 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 posi. Has KYB gas shocks in back. Has high torque starter. Disc brakes in front, e-brake assembly is complete. Floors look real clean. I did not see any patches or rot. Rocker panel pinch welds are clean.
Great looking RS-SS big block that can be driven anywhere and you will look good doing it!
I, Jay Grams, take pride in personally writing the descriptions for virtually every car for about the last 30 years now. A significant amount of effort goes into fact checking. What I am offering is my professional impression of the vehicle.
Our salesmen are happy to assist with descriptions and making sure your questions are answered. One great suggestion is letting us do a walk around video that explains the car's condition in detail.
Don't be intimidated, contact sales now for a no pressure, no hassle experience!

About Volo Auto Museum No other collector car dealer has been in business longer than the Volo Auto Museum. Owned and operated by the Grams family since 1960. We are the only collector car dealer that has 4 generations of experience with buying, selling and consigning classic autos. For our family, classic cars are more than a business, it is a passion. Over the decades, we have maintained a reputation for dealing with integrity as proven with our high reviews and A+ rating with the BBB. Buying a classic car can be exciting, but also stressful. We want to take the stress out of your buying experience by allowing you the time and tools you need to get to know the car you are interested in before making your investment, not after. Unlike auctions, we allow test drives, 3rd party inspections, the use of our shop and car lift. No reasonable request will be turned down. Selling a car can be equally stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. After reviewing your quality collector car, we will discuss the options we have available to you and let you decide what works best for you. We have cash available for immediate sales and we also offer a consignment program that surpasses anyone else’s. Unlike percentage based programs with fees; we work with a no fee, net to owner. This allows us the opportunity to treat and market your car as if it were our own. We invest approximately $1500 of our own money into marketing your car, which means if it doesn’t sell, we lose, not you. So, we are more aggressive in selling your car!
