1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 Description:

1969 Camaro SS 396 project car. This is a real SS 396 car as proven by the original trim tag. Originally red with a red interior and black vinyl top. The car was wrecked many years ago hit on the passenger side quarter panel right at the wheel. The car was probably stripped of its power train and other parts at that time. What it has now is a CXX code big block and a manual transmission. Not the original power train . The car is very restorable and when finished someone will have a real SS 396 car not one with a repro trim tag. The car needs a total restoration including a trunk floor and probably rear rails all due to being hit. The cowl and dash area are amazingly in great shape as is the front clip and doors. The floors are solid and appear to have had the front right pan worked on at some point.
