This 55 Chevy 2 Door Hard Top belonged to a friend of mine who passed away a few months ago and I'm helping his brother liquidate the estate......This car has been in the barn for years, and was burred deep in the back where I really couldn’t get good pictures or really see the true condition….about two weeks ago I had this car on eBay and it sold …. This weekend when we dug it out for delivery, to my surprise there was a lot more rust then I realized or described……When the buyer showed up, he too was disappointed so we agreed to cancel the sale and start all over again……

No Motor, No Transmission, the body has rust almost everywhere…… Right rear quarter in front of the wheel well by the rocker is gone…… rocker under drivers door also very bad…….Holes in the floor, hole in the hood, but comes with a second hood that seems fine…..passenger side window broken…..the trunk floor is pretty good…..gas tank very rusty……Dash looks good, under the hood looks good…. The Frame looks good, the rear looks good……has the rear seat, and what looks like Camaro front bucket seats, also the steering column looks like it to is out of a Camaro.. Defiantly a project car!
Good MD title, still in the decease name. The brother has the power of attorney and a death certificate so title transfer should be easy
Extra Parts:
Front Hood as also ready mentioned, one pair of yellow front fenders, not perfect but good, also another right front fender (looks very usable)….new after market rocker tin for both sides… looks like all the chrome is there (in the car), a few new pieces of chrome, like the door handles…… Also inside the car, are suspension parts that the owner had planed to use I guess to make this thing a Hot Rod, some kind of cut down four link rear, some coil springs, headers, disc brakes, different upper and lower control arms…..maybe Camaro or Mustang stuff I don’t know what they are off of…..
The winning bidder gets the Car and all the part we have that go with it.........
I sent these pictures you see to a 55 Chevy wholesaler and he gave me a standing offer of $3000...(so it's probably worth $5K or more).... So this auction starts at his offer.......... Seeing the car before the auction ends is near impossible, because of where I live, and the brother lives and where the car is located.........Pickup would work best on a Saturday ........Vehicle location is Westminster, MD........
