1963 CORVETTE STINGRAY
1963 Chevrolet Corvette Description:
Factory 340 hp 327 correct but not original rebuilt engine with a 4 speed transmission and power steering.The original trim tag shows this to be a Saddle Tan code 932 which has been replaced with a very nice Red Interior. This is a mid level driver quality with some upgrades. They include an upgraded front and rear sway bars, fiberglass rear spring, aluminum radiator, nice stereo, new gas tank, front 4 piston disc brakes, dual reservoir master cylinder, rebuilt engine and after market knock off wheels ($2,500 ) . The chassis and suspension were restored around 10 years ago and the original frame was replace with a later model frame ( not sure of the year but definitely not the original 1963 frame ). It has been driven occasionally but not often based on the 2015 Inspection sticker.This car runs and drives good will need some tweaking but is all there. Chrome and stainless are in nice shape The paint is driver quality and will need some work to be really nice. The passenger side door gap looks a little wide ( see pictures )and will need to be adjusted. This is an entry level midyear car and is priced well below typical asking prices. There is a reserve which is more than reasonable.The frame seems to be in good shape and does not have any visible issues. The convertible top is in nice shape with a clear rear window and includes the factory hardtop.
This is a great car but with all old Corvettes it's not perfect and is priced accordingly.
