All frame off restored with killer colors and desirable features.
EXTERIOR: This body is laser straight, there's no ripples, bubbles or damage. The panels fit remarkably well, perfectly square and flush. Doors shut like a new car. The garnet red paint is polished out like a red mirror, set off nicely with the white SS stripe. The stripe is not a decal, it is painted on to correct dimensions. No ugly vinyl top. All the trim appears to be replaced. Upfront the grill, bumper, emblems are new. The marker lights, trim and the hood including their grills, stainless moldings around the roof, door handles, mirror, tail lights, tail panel trim and rear bumper are new. Door jambs are painted real slick, new weather stripping, window seals and sill plates. SS wheels are restored, has bright trim rings. It's riding on reproduction redline tires.
INTERIOR: The white interior really pops against the red exterior. It looks like it's pretty thoroughly restored. All new upholstery on the seats, headrests, door panels, headliner and visors. It also has new chrome trim on the bucket seats. Dash area is restored, new dash pad, new instrument bezel with shiny chrome trim. It has factory in dash gauges, tachometer and clock. Beautiful rosewood deluxe steering wheel. A couple upgrades include the Retro stereo that fits right in the dash, has upgraded speaker in the dash and two in the rear shelf. Upgraded heat and a/c controls are electronic slide levers instead of cables. Cold air comes out factory vents.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Has correct 396 motor. Very well restored and detailed compartment. One obvious upgrade is the new Vintage Air heat and air conditioning system. Also has brand new cadmium plated power brake booster, new master and lines. Correct power steering with remote reservoir. Alternator looks new. The motor is neatly painted Chevy orange, has an upgraded carb with electric choke and an MSD ignition system. All the wiring, hoses, brackets are neat and tidy. All the metal surfaces are painted real nice and smooth. Has the hood insulation.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Trunk has really clean dry metal, painted gray spatter. Restored SS rim for a spare and it does include the jack assembly. Bottom of the trunk lid and jamb are painted just as glossy as the outside. New weather strip and decal instructions.
UNDERSIDE: Completely restored and detailed. Floors, frame and chassis components are exceptionally clean. There aren't even Pits in the metal. They have been prepped and painted semi gloss black. Upfront the suspension was all apart, rebuilt and detailed. Bottom of the motor is spotless Chevy orange, starter and fuel pump look new. Muncie 4-speed looks fresh. In back it has correct 12 bolt rear end with 3.31 gears. Suspension bushings, shocks and springs were replaced. Brake system was all redone, has disc in front. E-brake assembly is complete. New fuel system- tank, straps, sending unit and lines. Has a neatly bent Flowmaster exhaust system. With correct cowbell tips.
This is a very desirable Chevelle. Excellent fit and finish, outstanding colors, super options including air and a 4-speed!
