1985 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500 Silverado Description:

All original 1985 Chevrolet c20 Silverado 3/4 ton single cab long bed pickup truck. RUST FREE absolutely zero rust or any signs of bondo/repaint. 350 4 bolt main, 350 auto transmission. Power steering, brakes, windows and locks. Air conditioning needs a charge. Heater, wipers, gauges (except temp) radio windows all in working order. Tilt column and cruise control. Stock 16" steel wheels and hubcaps, tires are road worthy but getting old. Truck has always been on the road, was licensed through 2019 and passed last annual smog inspection in 2018. Steers stops and shifts runs/idles excellent, was a daily driver until the motor developed a light low end knock. I thought it might be a cracked flex plate but after inspection I did not see any cracks, however I did not separate transmission from motor to fully inspect so still could be culprit. I can send a video of truck running so you can hear if wanted. Truck still has plenty of power and blows no oil through tailpipe. been parked since the knock/tick started. Truck is in its original Indian Bronze Metallic paint. Paint and body shows obvious signs of wear and tear, but it took 35 years for it to build this character. Still shines up really well, something you could be proud to take to car events and invest money in, while also not hesitating to throw a load of lumber in the back and use the truck like it was meant to be. Semi float 14 bolt rear axle, change rear brakes without pulling axles. Truck is far from perfect, has many dings, dents, scratches and imperfections you would expect in a vehicle that is approaching 40 years old, but is still a real eye catcher and with detail work to the interior and some love under the hood would be a great driving edition to anyone's collection. Bidders are welcome to inspect the truck themselves or have another party do it on your behalf, but must be done prior to end of auction. Truck is being sold as-is with no warranty implied or given.
