1973 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 1500 Custom Deluxe Description:
1973 K-10 Custom Deluxe w/ built 350 (runs great), 4wd, PS, PB, wood bed, 4" lift, New 35 x 12.5 x 18 tires, New custom exhaust, Excellent interior, Retro sound radio w/aux in and JBL co-ax speakers (side of seats), stereo in dash speaker.Lots of recent updates and mechanical work, the following were all done within the last year:
Remanufactured heads, New radiator & water pump; New front drive-shaft; rear brakes and all hardware; New U-joints; New aluminum transmission pan, filter & fluid; New starter and alternator; carb rebuild; New heater core & blower; New gaskets installed, including head, intake, valve, header, oil pan, rear main seal, trans pan; New parking brake hardware; New 35 x 12.5 x 18 General Grabber tires; New transmission mounts; New custom exhaust from headers back w/ stainless Chevy logo exhaust tips and New tonneau cover.
Engine runs great, it is fitted with Edelbrock manifold and carb, Crane solid lifter cam and HEI ignition. Transmission shifts strong & 4X4 system works good. Manual lock-outs on front hubs. Only mechanical issue is if it parked on too steep of hill, "PARK" will not hold sometimes, have to use parking brake. Parking brake is all new and holds great.
This truck is titled as a 1973 K-10, it is a '73 cab on a 1982 frame with a 1982 engine and drivetrain. All the sheet- metal, (fenders, hood, doors, bed, bumpers, grille, lights, etc.) are newer (LMC) and are rust free. Rust is just starting on back left side of cab, see last pic. This is a flat panel that has a gap between it and the cab - in other words, the rust is not into the cab.
