1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Description:

• This auction listing is to sell on bids a very well kept 1983 Chevrolet Monte Carlo. This car is pretty much all stock original besides some of the paint that has been refinished on some panels. The engine drivetrain is all original and has not been abused or run hard, however it runs very well and will be very reliable to who owns it. The engine is a 305 V8 (5.0L) does not smoke or burn oil, and the transmission is strong. Mileage is true to the car and is accurate at 37,740. The tires are very good with about 85-90% tread remaining. Car rides smooth and handles nice. Includes a pair of additional wheels that have good studded snow tires on them in trunk. The A/C is all intact in car but I do believe it needs to be recharged with R-12 to make it cool again as it currently does not get cold. The body is very nice on exterior but not perfect as one could want to repaint on some panels due to original paint checking and fade on roof and decklid. Exterior will have various minor dings paint rock chips etc. The vinyl roof is in excellent condition with no tears or cracking in top. The interior is grey in color. The dash and other plastic trim is nice with no fading or UV sunlight stress. Seats are grey cloth with no tears or discoloration, however there is one tiny cigarette burn in front seat, one in the visor on driver side and one in carpet. Don't assume wrong these were a short incident years back. The car however is not a smokers car and does not smell of smoke! Just to clarify. Carpet has appearance of being used as it rightfully should with minor stains and discolor. The head liner is starting to separate and droop as most vehicles did in these years. If you've been looking for a Monte Carlo in this Era, this one is a strong good candidate for you to think about buying.
