1964 Chevrolet Suburban Description:

1964 Chevrolet Suburban / Carryall original ambulance conversion by Stoner ( conversion company name) This is an original black plate California truck. This model ambulance was featured on many TV shows back in the day. I've included some pictures at the end of the auction ( not this vehicle).This would be a great restoration project or a unique custom. This ambulance needs a full restoration.The truck is powered by a V8 and automatic transmission, I don't know if it's original to the ambulance or not. When I got it 8 years ago it was running off a gas can under the hood, the gas tank had been removed and was in the back compartment. I'm including a new gas tank which is not installed. The truck is NOT running at this time. When the truck was running off the gas can it sounded good but was only lot driven and has been sitting since then.As I said this is an original black plate California truck. There is some rust visible in the roof drip rails and in the rocker panels. Shortly after I got the truck I replaced the hood, fenders, grille and front bumper with parts from a donor which were in much better shape. There are still holes in the roof for the lights and siren and holes for the whip antenna in the left 1/4. The windshield is cracked but is not unique to the ambulance.The interior looks to be original to the ambulance conversion. One of the coolest features is the front passenger seat which swivels to face the back. The gurney in the back is included.
The truck is sold AS-IS, WHERE IS.
There is a clear California title and the ambulance is on a planned non-op so no back fees are due.
The mileage is listed as shown on the 5 digit speedometer, I don't know if it's rolled over or not.
Any inspections are to be done before the end of the auction. The buyer is to pay a non refundable $500.00 deposit within 24 hours of the end of the auction. The balance must be paid within 7 days of the end of the auction in the form of cash (in person), cashier's check or bank wire transfer. Paypal is NOT acceptable for the balance due. All funds must be verified before the vehicle and title will be released. Shipping quotes, arrangements and payment are the buyer's responsibility, I don't know how much it will cost to ship it to your location. The car can be stored for up to 3 weeks from the auction end at no cost. If you are coming to the Ripon emergency vehicle show on October 5th I'm located 1/2 hour from Ripon and will store it until then if you want to pick it up at the time, the car must be paid for within the time frame listed above however.
