Up for aution is my 1987 chevy chevette. It has a professionally built blown 383 small block chevy engine . It was dyno and tuned by my engine builder in leroy ny. Carl McQuillen is the builder. The engine is a chevy 350 block that was originaly a 2 bolt main. It now has been converted to a 4 bolt main and is bore and stroked to a 383. The motor was dyno on 93 pump gas. The motor cost me $22,000 to have it built. I bought the car as a roller. It has a power glide 2 speed tranny with a trans brake. Car also has a line lock on front brakes and has a brake proportional valve located on floor board on drivers side by the seat. Car is 98% street legal. Only thing it should probely have to be 100% street legal is windshield wipers and a emergence brake. The rear axle is a Ford 9 inch with a coil over 4 link. All the wheels have wilwood disk brakes and all wheels have coil over shocks. Front tires are new and are145r15. The rear tires are slicks and are also new tire size 32x13x15. I was told by previous owner car weighs 2200 pounds. The car has a full square Tube frame with a full roll cage tied into it. I do not know if the cage is certified. The speedometer does not work. It only has a 5 gallon fuel cell. Dont know rear gear ratio. Windshiel and both doors have oem glass and doors windows go up and down. The rear windows are plastic. The hood and bumpers and rear hatch are custom made fiber glass panels. I didnt have the hart to cut the hood for the blower to fit . The hood is included with the car. Only reason why im selling this car is because its way to fast and it scares the crap out of me And i have no more room. I put this car last summer and i have hardly driven it. I probaly have only ran 40 gallons of gas throw it since it was built.I have never drag raced this car. It was drag raced and street driven by the previous owner. The only body damage is on rear drivers side wheel well as seen by the picture. The car is painted and is not vinal . The car is extremely straight and has a amazing paint job. The car is listed with no reserve and is also locally for sale or trade for a chevy truck and i have the right to end the aution early if it sales locally . Please ask questions before bidding.
