1950 Chevrolet Other Pickups Description:

1950 Chevrolet 3600 pickup truck. Straight six engine, and four speed floor shift manual transmission. The truck has the following original dealer add-on accessories; drivers side Guide spotlight, turn signals (not working), hydraulic snow plow and dumping bed. The belt driven hydraulic pump runs either the bed or the plow. The plow works great, and I used it this winter to plow my driveway, but one of the two hydraulic cylinders for the bed leaks too bad to use the dump. This is a very solid original unmolested work truck, that has never been used recreationally, or been restored it has always been a shop truck. There's been only two owners before me since roughly 1979, and I believe that the original owner was an ARCO gas station, as is evident by the Arco sign patching the floor, and it also looks like at one point the fenders were white. It has been a shop truck at two local garages, on the same street for roughly the last forty years.I have only owned this truck for three years, but it has been local to me since the late 70's. One old shop name is still barely visible through the paint on the door. The original belt line double pinstripe is still there too! I installed the Fulton sun shield. The truck is currently registered and insured, and I use it to run errands in town. It starts, runs, drives and stops. This truck "needs" nothing, but could use everything. All the (flat) glass is cracked. All of the door and window seals are gone. There's no muffler. Brakes are sketchy. The engine purrs. It is still six volt, and always starts, no matter the temperature! I will include two to three hundred bucks worth of aftermarket interior parts that I've yet to install. There is NO title for this truck. I am in New Hampshire where they do not issue titles for vehicles manufactured after 1999. All the proper and legal state paperwork proving it comes from a non-title state will be provided to legally register it in any state. I really like this truck, and I did not buy this truck to flip it. I just have too many vehicles right now, and this one just seems like the best one for me to sell at this time.
