1986 Chevrolet Corvette Description:

This is a running car (Recent NY inspection) that I decided not to finish. This is what I know needs to be done: repair to undercarriage fiberglass cover (minor fix or replace) The paint (if you like the color) needs work (sanding, second coat). I would replace the transmission seal (very small leak). Wiper motors are very slow, as are both window motors. The door hardware needs to be tightened up. The exterior rubber trim should be replaced/fixed as should the glass top rubber (doesn't leak). There is some interior carpeting that needs to be re-glued. The aftermarket stereo is adequate but limited (has apple lightning interface). The fuel pump takes a short moment before starting. Turn signals need to be manually shut off. There are Corbeau racing seats that are very comfortable. Aftermarket exhaust (Thrush) with good heavy sound. Good rubber. Good shocks. Good brakes. New heater core. New battery. Very fast, turns like a corvette should and gets about 25 mpg on highway. All display electronics work. AC works. A good car that was fun to drive but now needs a new owner. I will deliver without charge within 100 miles of NYC after payment clears or you can arrange for delivery/pick up. It is listed locally for sale. Buy it now price is less than an actual offer for this car (but I didn't sell then).
