1962 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier Description:
NO RESERVE! - This is a 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Greenbrier mini-van. It has a 6 cyl air-cooled engine in the rear and a 4 speed manual transmission, It's similar to the VW micro-bus and would make a really cool surf van. The engine is a 110 and was rebuilt a few years ago. It hasn't been on the road recently but started right up with a jump. It was updated with an HEI electronic dist, an electric fuel pump, and a dual master cyl. It had some rust work done in the past and was repainted but the paint is showing it's age and there's some new rust spots. Since it hasn't gotten much use over the past few years I would recommend spending some time sorting it out to get it road worthy. It's a rare truck and gets tons of attention where ever you go. In most car shows I took it to years ago, it was the only one. Parts are still available through Clark's Corvair and other vendors and Corvair F/C's have been going up in value. It has AM/FM/CD player with aux inputs added under the dash. Included is a complete set of teal interior door and wall cards you see in the picture as well other misc parts including a good fuel tank and sender. I was planing to redoing the body, and getting it road ready again, but I'm no longer able to do that kind of work anymore. Inspection in person is welcomed. Van in located in Putnam Co.
