M 1031 contact maint truck

1986 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 3500 Military Description:

1986 M 1031 contact maint. truck, 6.2 l diesel, turbo 400 trans., dana 60 front with limited slip and 14 bolt rear with a Detroit locker, It has a 205 transfer case and a P.T.O. drive to run the generator in the back, also has a air compressor in the back. It all works but the control for the Generator doesn't idle the engine up and down the way it is suppose to. The drivers side has some damage and the one door is in the back. The rear tires have around 1000 miles on them and the front are around 40%. This truck works great and the four wheel drive is awesome.The lights work, might have a clearance light or two that need fixed, Blackout drive lights work. I bought this truck in 2010 from the military and have used it for hauling tools to job sights, and Hunting adventures with my kids and everything in between. The batteries are a couple of years old, and work great, It has a manual control on the glow plugs, I have a bunch of extra parts for this truck, injection pump that needs rebuilt, set of heads that are used.
