1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS396 Description:

1967 Camaro SS 396, automatic with only 2700 miles on the body.

This Camaro was a drag car since almost new and only has 2700 street miles, it retains ALL of the original sheet metal including the rear quarter panels, front fenders, doors, hood and deck lid and they are all rust free and fit great! The car was finished in the factory Marina Blue base coat clear coat.The car had been stored since the mid '70s and still had most of its original paint but was in very poor condition so we couldn't save it and had to do a complete restoration on the car to bring it back to its original glory. The original engine was long gone but the transmission and rear end are original and date coded to the car.

The engine is a 1970 402 completely rebuilt and bored .030 over with pump gas friendly 9.5 compression, we added a comp cams 260H hydraulic cam that has a nice choppy idle, Edelbrock Performer aluminum intake, Edelbrock 750 cfm carb with electric choke, factory style 14'' open element air cleaner, Petronix electronic ignition, and factory style chrome valve covers. The following under hood items are new as well, fuel pum, coil, water pump, power steering pump and hoses, alternator, voltage regulator, horn relay, battery, wiper motor, radiator and power steering box. A factory set of exhaust manifolds and a new Gardener Dual exhaust system finish it out.

The transmission is the original numbers matching 400 turbo that has been completely rebuilt with a new torque converter and uses the factory shifter.

The rear end is the original 12 bolt with factory traction bar and a 3.55 gear with positraction and is completely rebuilt as well.

The suspension has been completely restored front to back with all new bushings, springs, shocks etc and rides and drives like a new car!

The brake system is all new as well and has power front disc up front, drum rear with all new brake hoses, brake lines, wheel cylinders, brake shoes and hardware, new rear drums, new rotors, new calipers and a new 11'' brake booster and master cylinder.

The fuel system has all been replaced with new lines, fuel tank, sending unit and fuel pump.

The car looks as good underneath as it does on top and has all new glass, weather stripping. chrome trim, bumpers, emblems, tail lights, grill, ALL new wiring harnesses front to back as well.

The black standardinterior has been completely restored with new headliner, carpet, seat covers,door panels and dash pad. It has the factory in dash tach and console gauges, 3 spoke wood wheel and a custom auto sound am/fm stereo.

The car is NEW NEW NEW front to back and top to bottom, it drives like a new car and runs super!
