SoCal Classic Car Storage in Laguna Hills, CA is proud to present this fully customized 1970 Chevrolet C-10 1/2 ton 4x4. This C-10 underwent a full frame of restoration. Everything from the deep wet paint finish to the full leather upholstery was executed at the highest level. The paint finish is comparable to a professional SEMA build. Under the sunlight, you'll see it's not just your ordinary black paint finish, yet black cherry metallic. Again, see the photos, but it's truly astonishing as to just how laser straight the body panels are. As everyone knows, the color black is the ultimate test for straight, ripple-free panels. You won't find one ripple or wave. Next is the plush interior that boasts a number of different custom touches. You'll first tickle your senses with the smell of real leather throughout. You'll also enjoy the leather wrapped aluminum steering wheel mounted on a tilt steering column. As for tunes.... well the stereo system is nothing short of a competition sound system that will shatter glass and blow eardrums. You'll also find cruising your favorite backroads comfortable knowing you won't roast in the summer heat thanks to ice cold a/c.Under the hood is a highly detailed engine bay with a monster 454 big block pushing massive amounts of power through a 5 speed manual transmission. Now, take a peek at the underside that reveals all the powder coated components. Every nut and fastener has been replaced. All new brakes, brake lines, fuel lines, gas tank, inner fender wells, etc..... too much to list. A lot of time and money went into this build. The goal was to bring this C-10 back to it's factory condition, only this time...... taller, stronger and sexier!
The bed was finished off with new bed slats, polished aluminum trim and hardware. The Alcoa wheels and tires give the truck that aggressive stance as well. Every piece of anodized body trim is new. Both bumpers have been re-plated. New weather striping throughout. There is one area on the passenger rear bedside in which the paint has cracked (see photo). Otherwise, this truck is turn-key and ready to enjoy this summer!
The truck is an absolute blast to drive and the attention it receives is insane. It cruises at 65 or 70mph all day long on the freeway. It tracks straight and stops on a dime. It has an immense amount of power that will smoke the tires for blocks. The roar from this truck will send chills up your spine. With that said, I welcome you to stop by for a test drive. So.....
